Nutrition Services
Nutrition is an important component to our health and well-being, yet many of us put nutrition far down on our priority list due to busy work and school schedules. Maybe it's time for a nutrition check-up! The Nutrition Services Department at Hartshorn Health Service (HHS) helps students at CSU reach their nutrition related goals and establish healthy dietary practices. Staffed with three registered dietitians, we are prepared to take on any nutrition challenges that the college population presents!

Individual nutrition consultation for the following:
($15.00 for a one-hour appointment; $5.00 for each follow-up appointment.)
Healthy Eating Diabetes Weight Management High Cholesterol Dining Hall Nutrition High Blood Pressure Vegetarianism Symptoms of Hypoglycemia Sports Nutrition Disordered Eating Diet Analysis Individual Dietary Concerns
- Weight for Me weight loss program: Weight For Me include one-on-one personal training and nutrition counseling sessions to assist you in meeting your weight loss goals. For more information about this program, click

- Ask the Dietitian: Hartshorn nutritionists hang out all over campus ready to answer your burning questions about your eating habits. Where?
- The Wellness Zone on Thursdays from 11:30 - 1:30
- The Student Recreation Center on the first Wednesday of each month from 11:00am-7:00pm
- Cooking Healthy Eats for Students (CHEFS): Nutrition Services offers themed cooking classes during Fall and Spring Semesters. For more information regarding these classes, click here
- Group presentations on any nutritional topics of interest (Free of charge). Fill out a presentation
request form if you would like us to come and talk to your group.
- Displays, posters, table tents, education materials, and handouts available to provide nutrition information to your specific audience.
