Whitney is in her second year at Hartshorn Health Service. Prior to coming to CSU, Whitney earned a Bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Science from Cornell University where she was a captain of the Big Red Softball team. After completing her dietetic internship at Cornell and Strong Memorial Hospital, Whitney relocated to Fort Collins where she is seeking her Master’s Degree in Exercise Science and Human Nutrition. Whitney’s professional interests include health promotion, sports nutrition, eating disorders and weight management.

Maryam completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Shaheed Beheshti University in Tehran, Iran. She immigrated to Canada three years ago and went through an intensive course for international educated dietitians and got her RD in Canada. Maryam moved to US last year and got her RD in the US. She had over 9 years experience working with children, students and adults in university, hospital, private office and community setting. She has recently relocated to Ft Collins to pursue her PhD in nutrition in the department of Food Science and Human Nutrition. Maryam’s professional interests include weight management and behavior, nutrition education and children’s nutrition.
